ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Linda Zins-Adams serves as the World Language Department Chair and Coordinator of the Chaminade Global Scholars at Archbishop Moeller High School. She is a certified and trained AP consultant, reader/table leader, and reviewer for College Board and has conducted numerous state-level, regional, and national workshops and webinars. Additionally, Linda served from 2015-2019 as the advisor to the AP German Language and Culture Development Committee, which consists of university and high school instructors and together they write the AP German Language and Culture Exam. She has received the Distinguished Alumna from the University of Cincinnati, the Federal Republic of Germany Friendship Award, and the AATG/Goethe-Institut Certificate of Merit, the Award for Excellence in Foreign Language Instruction Using Technology with IALLT (K-12), and AATG's Outstanding German Educator. After earning the title of "Teacher of the Year" in the southern region, Linda served as President of the Southern Conference on Language Teaching (SCOLT) (a regional organization for all World Language teachers) and during her term on the SCOLT board she also served as the editor of the newsletter, SCOLTalk and the Awards Chair.
